Are you at an important juncture in your life? Have you recently gone through a rite of passage or are you preparing to usher in a time of change? In this workshop participants will use creative writing and visual art to explore an important life milestone and the opportunity this liminal space presents for personal transformation and creative expression. Participants will be encouraged to focus on a turning point that is especially relevant and meaningful for them. Potential topics include: the loss of a loved one, getting married, becoming a parent, celebrating a significant anniversary or birthday, moving, changing jobs, discovering one’s passion and purpose. Utilizing drawing, painting, collage and creative writing, participants will have the chance to create their own narrative images. No previous art or writing experience necessary.
