Mask Making Workshop at the Oregon Coast

Join us for an afternoon of mask-making by the sea. Drawing inspiration from the magnificence of the Oregon Coast and the plants and animals that make their home here, we will utilize painting, drawing, collage, and printmaking techniques to decorate our masks. Participants will also have a chance to collect natural materials to incorporate into their projects. This workshop is open to people of all ages, school-age children are welcome with a participating adult. Please come wearing clothes you are comfortable making art in. No previous art experience necessary.
Costs & Registration:
The cost for this workshop is $20 per person. This workshop is open to the general public as well as guests staying at the Salishan Resort. Pre-registration is recommended. Please contact Salishan at 541-764-3600 with questions or to register.
About the Instructor:
Lisa Kagan is a writer, artist, educator and personal historian. Her business, Family Heirloom Arts, is dedicated to helping individuals and families celebrate their life stories and significant life milestones through the creation of illustrated heirloom books and custom art. Lisa offers art and writing workshops and retreats throughout the Pacific Northwest.
